    • Ok - i have zero knowledge on this front, so please be kind.

      I was in my admin area in the global settings (roughly? can't remember)...and clicked the SSL option...I didn't save or anything...it just kicked me out...I also set my login time from 15 to 99 just before this.

      This is all I know about what I did??

      now...I get this error when I go to the website link or the admin sign-in link. (see attached)
      ...and can't sign in to fix it?!!

      I googled the error code: Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long ...but it is over my head.

      I cant restore via godaddy because I was up all night working and it would miss my work that I have just done.

      does someone know where I can go in the phpMyAdmin to simply reverse this life-changing move?

      I just clicked an option....can I not just click an option to set it back?

      THANK YOU!!

    • Found this - thanks anyway:

      you could also get in to your Cpanel of your site,

      use file browser and navigate to the root level of your site structure and find the file configuration.php

      in there set

      var $force_ssl = '0';

      0 meaning forcing it is set to off.

      That will let you get back in to the site rather than generating a SSL certificate that is self signing on your domain.
