Hi there,
Was initially having issues with my Wordpress for Joomla plugin (showing blank pages when clicking links) and the guys over at corephp told me to ask my host to increase the amount of memory allocated to PHP by using a modified php.ini file or .htaccess file.
Well when host tried apparently it crashed site and now they are stating that "The htaccess file has been deleted from root. Never found a php.ini file" None of my links are working and still not the blog.
Can anyone help?? Feeling SO helpless. Not sure where to generate a htaccess file from and why it was never in the root directly in the first place. And why no php.ini??
Did you ask them to recover the missing file? usually they create a backup of yr site before any changes.? ask them they might possible recover the missing file.

Going from bad to worse. Received instructions on how to create, rename, upload a new htaccess file and now cannot get to Administrator Panel. The ftp doesn't show it anywhere though, to delete?

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
The guys at corePHP were able to revert it to the default Joomla 1.7 .htaccess file. We also found that the the plugin "System - RSFirewall! Active Scanner" is causing Wordpress for Joomla to not work. If I disable it, the Blog begins to work fine. For anyone else out there using those two in combination!
