SOLVED Favicon URL in Modulus? (SSL related)

Posted 13 years 2 months ago
    • Hi, I have searched the forum and found nothing, so I apologize if this has indeed been asked before  . I use Modulus for Joomla 1.5. When I use https://, I get a 'slashed' padlock icon in my address bar (Chrome).

So I checked with whynopadlock.com, and one of the reasons of the 'slashed' padlock is the favicon URL is in absolute http. So I searched for rt_head_includes.php, but I cant find it. I searched in the index.php in the template root folder and I can't find any reference to the favicon. I wonder in what file is the favicon URL is stored in Modulus? Have I been looking in the wrong places? BTW I put the favicon in the template root folder. Thanks in advance.

    • rt_head_includes.php is used in older templates for Joomla 1.5.

Have you tried dropping the favicon in /templates/rt_modulus/?

    • I see. Yeah, I store it in templates/rt_modulus/. Or by 'dropping' you mean deleting it? Sorry, English is not my first language.

    • Nevermind, I have solved the problem. I changed the value of $var_livesite in configuration.php from ' www.mysite.com ' to ' www.mysite.com '. Thanks for the help.
