    Using Joomla as a blog

Posted 13 years 2 months ago
    • Hi,

I hope I have this in the right section, I think it classifies as configuration of Joomla so I hope it's okay.

I just had a quick question. I've made a few sites using Joomla, but now I would like to start a new one, however, I want this one to be more like a blog, and make it easy to navigate through past articles etc.

It's just that I prefer Joomla as opposed to Wordpress since,
        I have experience with Joomla
I have a Rockettheme Joomla Membership
I prefer the look of Joomla websites

What is the best way to do this?

So everytime I create a new article, I want the latest one to go on the homepage aswell etc. Just make it automated enough so I don't have to manually add links everytime I add an article etc.

      Thanks for all your help.

    • Since Joomla in its native form doesn't really support 'blogs' or a 'commenting system' look at blog components such at JComments, (used in some RT templates) or Intense debate (used on the RT site).
    • Thanks,
