cant install template

Hi there
I am using a webfusion vps hosting service and I have installed the joomla app to the vps server. I am trying to install a clarion 2.5 bundle to the server with no luck. When i install the template i get the following errors
Library Uninstall: Manifest file invalid or not found.
Copy failed
JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file /var/www/vhosts/lvps212-67-217-114.vps.webfusion.co.uk/site1/tmp/install_4f6cc05806603/lib_gantry/lib_gantry.xml to /var/www/vhosts/lvps212-67-217-114.vps.webfusion.co.uk/site1/administrator/manifests/libraries/lib_gantry.xml
Library Install: Could not copy setup file.
I also get a message underneath with the rockettheme logo saying
Gantry Library installation failed

Can anyone help me figure out whats wrong here?

Hi, you need to check your log and tmp path to make sure it is correct, then check your directory permissions under the system info in Joomla to make sure everything is green.
Are you able to install anything - other extensions, plugins ECT? If not, it's definitely a configuration issue within Joomla. - The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

I am having the same issue with this site, I can install everything but lib_gantry.zip. I have checked permissions and paths, it all seems ok- any ideas???

- Hi, I'm not sure what file lib_gantry.zip is or where you got that. The current version of the gantry framework is gantry_joomla_framework-3.2.19.zip, available at www.gantry-framework.org/download - please try and install that file.
- The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

I have tried to install tessellate-1.0 template with joomla 3.3 and joomla 2.5
First installed the file tessellate-1.0-bundle.zip
Second installed the file gantry_joomla_framework-4.1.25.zip
and always appears the next message
Library Uninstall: Manifest file invalid or not found.
Copy failed
JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file /var/www/vhosts/psmi.com.mx/httpdocs/joomla/tmp/install_53e2bcbd54f0f/lib_gantry/lib_gantry.xml to /var/www/vhosts/psmi.com.mx/httpdocs/joomla/administrator/manifests/libraries/lib_gantry.xml

the log and tmp directories ara right.
what's the solution?
