  • Google Analytics (Ionsophere, J2.5)

    • Hi, I'm relatively new to Joomla and Gantry, etc. I have installed Google Analytics using the template Analytics field and everything seems to be proper and placed with the correct UA code, etc. But when I go to Google Analytics it keeps telling me:

      "Tracking Not InstalledLast checked: Apr 18, 2012 10:55:23 AM PDT
      The Google Analytics tracking code has not been detected on your website's home page. For Analytics to function, you or your web administrator must add the code to each page of your website."

      The website is distinctlydoug.com.

    • Did you confirm your site with the Google Analytics? How do you access your site? For example, by domain.com or by www.domain.com ? There is a big difference and google sees that as two separate domains

      I am trying to do the same thing. Do I put the "UA-Number" in the UA code or "Number" in the code box?

      Also, do I include the dash?

      For example, do I place "UA-239871-1" or "239871-1"

    • You need to place the whole code as you received it. In your case you need to place "UA-239871-1" (without the quotes naturally)

      It's nice if this information meringue described in the tooltips of the field in the template configuration RT. Now this is not clear.
