Template install Issue with Joomla 2.5.6

Hi,
I have Joomla 2.5.6 installed using xampp on Win 7.
When I install rt_halcyon and clarion template I get these template install issues and template can not be viewed as default template. Just shows Strict Standards issues on the page. Template does not display.
It does say installation was successful however? But lists these Strict Standard issues.

I am new to Joomla (a beginner) is there a step by step easy to understand fix for this issue?
Ps All my other Joomla templates seem to work fine just these two templates?
PS Is this a common error with some templates or is it because i have Joomla 2.5.6 the latest version installed? Have I installed it incorrectly?

Hi there,
It could be a number of things. Especially since you are using a local installation so we have no idea of how your xampp is set up nor how your PC is handling anything.
I always work on a live server so I know immediately if there will be a problem when I hand client site over.
What browser are you using? Is your browser set to strict standards?

I have the latest Firefox version 12, I also tried in Chrome and Internet Explorer.
How do you tun off strict standards in Firefox?
The template when made default in Template Manager I assume is meant to look exactly how Clarion Template is on the Rocket theme web site but when mine loads it has no images or even the layout is not like the template Clarion.
It does not look like the Clarion template at all no images, no layout except for 3 columns of info.

Simplest solution to this problem is:
1.Go to "administrator" window
2.Under "global configuration" select "server"
3.In "server settings" set "Error Reporting" to "none" or "simple". - AXER DIGITAL

Hi Cam55,
The only way it will look like the demo is if you used RocketLauncher to install a copy of the demo. This can only be done on a new site.
You still would not get all the pictures as they are subject to copyright and you would get blank images instead.
