  • Can't See Clarion Template, in Admin

    • An IT associate installed Clarion Template Rocket launcher on MSSQL database (as I'm not familiar with MSSQL databases) on private server. Then, he says, Joomla 2.5.6 was installed.

      When one views the file structure, it certainly appears as though everthing is there, and installed as it should be.
      For example, there are “com_rokcandy, com_gantry, etc.” components that are unique to Rockketheme, and they appear in the Components Directory when one looks at the file structure.
      Similarly, sample images from the Template appear in the Media/Images folders, in the file structure.
      The default Joomla Template appears as it should on the front end.

      However, when I go to the back-end Admin, the images from the template can be seen in Media Manager, but the “Gantry” and other Rockettheme components do not appear under “Components” and the Clarion Template does not show in Template Manager.
      Is it possible the 2.5.6 install might have done something? Am trying to find out if he installed over top of the 2.5.4 version or did an update through admin panel. Would appreciate your thoughts.

    • In detail your PM and your post here are a bit confusing. You have a lot of people helping in one form or the another. According to what I am reading, you also have installed various versions in various places, etc. We don't need to know the details about that. It sounds to me like you just need some guidance.

      So, may we start a-new?

      First, please post to the forum and don't send a private message. By doing so, other moderators can read / help and other members too can learn.

      Second, I asked for your admin login / pw so I could take a look at your setup, etc. and what you are trying to explain.

      At present: What template do you have have you installed? Standard? Bundle? Rocket Launcher?

      If you installed the RocketLauncher then it is a fresh Joomla install. What this means is the install contains both the installation of Joomla and your Rocket Theme template, including extensions. The demo content will also be loaded if "Include Demo Content" is selected in the installation process.

      Also: Who is your host? Do you have access to your server? Or is someone else doing the install for you?
