Same login for users in Joomla 2.5 site and phpbb3 forum !

    • Hi!
I'm a club member, but new to RocketTheme, and downloaded the Ximenia both Template for joomla site, aswell as Ximenia template for a phpbb3 forum system that i have to integrate in the same site.
I want to integrate the login for the users in the joomla site and in the phpbb3 forum. I Know there is an extension called "RokBridge" but it apears to be for joomla 1.5.
      My questions could be:
      - Does that version work for a Joomla 2.5 version?
      - If not, Is there a 2.5 version of that extension available?
      - If not, is there another way to acomplish this?

Hope you can help me with this.
      Thanks in advanced :D

      Juan

    • RokBridge doesn't work with J2.5 and there doesn't exist J2.5 version. You could try to search on JED for some Joomla-phpbb3 bridge solution 8)

    • p8pBB is the easiest option out there. Light version provides basic user login and registration synching. The full version provides a much tighter integration and is especially useful if you also use JomSocial or Communitt Builder.

You could also look at JFusion but it's a bit of a pain to set up.
