SOLVED 500 internal server error with foreign extension

I've suddenly encountered issues with 1 of my fav. plugins "sigplus".
When accessing a page with a gallery displayed using the plugin, the server CPU resources goes to 100% (as seen in cPanel) & a 500 Internal Server Error is returned.
I've contacted my web host & they say it's a script issue. However when I set up on localhost or on another companies server, no problems.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

- This behavior greatly depends on the resources that are available on server in global. I am guessing that you are using shared hosting account so your web site behavior depends also on all other web site that are hosted on the same server

- I think you're spot on - the extension by default relies on 'imagemagick' image library. This isn't properly configured on all shared servers. In this case, once this is changed the image library function to Graphic Draw, everything was fine.
