socialbuttons macro is not showing on front end RockCandy

Any ideas as to why my social button macro in rockcandy are not showing on the front end in Ximenia template?
on the front end it shows {socialbuttons}
Any help?

This is occuring for me too, I used Rocketlauncher for Joomla 2.5 and it is not working. I have updated to the latest version of the module, and am using Ximenia for J2.5 (Responsive), but on the homepage it is just showing {socialbuttons}. This is featured articles layout for the menu item "home".

It seems this is not possible according to Rockettheme

It only works within the articles created but not modules. Should work there as per the template.
Try this in in an article to ensure the social buttons are working first of all.

Hi Sheldon,
My occurance of {socialbuttons} is in an article, not a module. Infact it is exactly the same demo content as what came in RocketLauncher bundle, and is the same if you look at Ximenia demo. I don't understand why it works on their demo, yet not on my rocketlauncher version of Ximenia. The plugin is enabled, so it should work fine.
The home page "Latest News" section that these articles appear in, is not a module. The home page is type featured articles in blog layout, just like Ximenia demo.

Have you added anything else (modules/plugins/components) to the site over and above what came with Ximenia?
If so, the likelihood is that that is causing a conflict in the code. - CMYKreative : Graphic Design , Web Design , Printing , Banner Ads , Branding and more.

He appeared with the transition to joomla 2.5.10 (and 2.5.11).
The page displays only {socialbuttons}
