      If I change the properties of the table

      </table>

      and save it
      it looks like this

      <table class="\&quot;\\&quot;&quot;&quot;table\\&quot;\&quot;">
      ............
      </table>
      Why?

      You will have to check with your Joomla editor settings why is this happening to you. Since this is really not related to any of our templates or extensions, please ask the same question in official Joomla forum
