    SOLVED About Joomla Tutorials - Out of date?

    • Still a serious newbie here and with Joomla as well. (although I have done development for 20+ years)
      So I hope I don't make too many dumb posts...

      But I am in a deep dive on Joomla, and in particular the Rocket system.
      And looking at the resources it seems there is some v.old stuff laying around.

      Like this page of the tutorials, off the main joomla menu
      http://www.rockettheme.com/joomla-tutorials

      all of it seems to be relevant to Joomla v1?

      Is this because there are no substantive changes between the versions 2 and then 3?
      Where are the best places to go to to get current info for J2.5? Ie, is this tab obsolete?

      I'm happy to let you know that we're working hard on updating not only this documentation, but virtually every form of documentation we have at RocketTheme. These tutorials and guides will be available soon, though we're hoping to release them as part of a greater and ongoing effort.

      I was brought on not long ago for the very purpose of making this happen. We're listening to the community, and this is certainly something we're dedicated to making happen soon; not only for Joomla users, but for users of other platforms RocketTheme supports.
