Roksprocket update error

Everytime I try to update roksprocket within my leviathan rocketlauncher joomla I get this error page
500 (Internal Server) Error
...that we're working furiously to correct. Things will be up and running again soon. Thanks for your patience.
And I believe I need the roksprocket to edit the ad banner that's at the top of my webpage can someone help me with this? Do I need to use an older one or how do I go about fixing this issue?

- download the latest full roksprocket extension and install it manually using the Joomla installer. this sometimes helps in such situations after that you should be able to upgrade using the updater for future updates.
