We're running on an ec2 micro instance and just wondering if anyone had any advice for configuring apache for a low power server.
We've seen a few articles about tuning apache for low power servers and we've gone through the exercise of configuring the apache server pool size regulation settings, and installed apc. But when we've tried to enable any kind of caching server side it's always resulted in pages rendering wrong.
Interestingly, I've tried running our site on a larger instance (everything from micro all the way up to xlarge) and it didn't have much effect on our site's speed as measured by google pagespeed 5 points going from a micro to a xlarge instance at significant cost.
As for putting this question to AWS support or the official Joomla forum, I might try that going forward but I was wondering if anyone around here had any experience with aws&ec2 since rockettheme customers will have very similar performance to us on the same "hardware".
