Decoding of raw data impossible NSURLErrorDomain:-1015

Dear rocketthemer's,
well, I mentioned a problem which is completely new to me. If I try to access to my page ( www.internetmeisterei.com - user "dev" passwd: "internetmeisterei") a error message appears, which says, that the decoding of raw data is impossible (NSURLErrorDomain:-1015).
The error message does not appear if I try to reach the backend.
This happens if I turn on GZIP. If I turn it off, the problem is solved. As I want to use GZIP there has to be a solution...
This error appears in safari and firefox (latest versions for Mac).

GZIP is not a completely reliable tool to speed things up. It can help, but depending on the device you're using, the help is either negligible or in some cases, it can make things worse.
GZIP compresses info and sends the compressed info to your computer and your browser does the work to decompress it. You'll want to be on the newest Joomla version as there were GZIP issues with Joomla 2.5 that I've noticed, and you'll want to be on the most current browser version.
Lastly, how you cache items might be helping to cause an issue as well. Give things a try with absolutely no caching on and turn on GZIP. If that breaks too, then you know its either use GZIP or Cache and Cache is far more valuable.
I do have a site up with GZIP turned off and RokBooster doing the caching and that is the most optimal speed performace, so its not a necessity.
