Ok so i upgraded my Joomla site from 2.5.16 (i think) to 3.2.
Had some issues - no worries, restored everything back to how it was using the site backup and restore tool on my linux VPS running Plesk (v11.09) (backups up and restores database, files, vps settings etc).
So started again with the 3.2 upgrade and once again encountered issues - no worries will just restore from my VPS backup again, however this time the restore did not work!!
after performing the restore i got a blank front and back end page.
Now the Plesk Backup and restore tool backs up all data, files, database settings & even the hosting plan and virtual environment configuration so a restore really should have worked and brought the site back to its original state... I also have restarted the VPS - this VPS is currently running other sites with the same joomla version with no issues.
have been trying to resolve this for hours now and am getting nowhere!!!
Any help would me massively appreciated!!
Can provide VPS, database and FTP access to jhelp find a resolution - really getting desperate now..

- VPS issue should really be resolved with your hosting company. We really can't be involved in that. Check your php error logs to see the possible php errors which could give you a hint what is going on
