EC2 - Bitnami Install of Wordpress configuration

  • EC2 - Bitnami Install of Wordpress configuration

    • Hi, I have a Bitnami install of Wordpress running on EC2. I've installed my theme, plugins and gantry framework. When I activate the theme, I get no theme on the interface.

      54.86.180.144/

I think php883 is required. Do I need to install phpBB3? Though Bitnami set all that up. They offer phpMy Admin as a utility.

Amy I better off setting up from scratch? If anyone has experience with this, I'd like some advice.

      Rich

    • phpBB is not required for any of our WordPress themes. It looks like this is just a CSS compiling issue.

Please create a secure post with a link to your admin and FTP details so we can take a direct look.

      Looking forward to helping you!

    • Unfortunately, I'm not sure what all this info means. Can you provide me with basic FTP / cPanel access?

    • Reggie,

Thanks - I don't have CPanel on the machine because its an Amazon EC2 server. I use FileZilla, and the steps for sftp are:
      1. Using FileZilla
      2. Under Edit > Settings you will see Connection > SFTP where you are able to upload the key I attached in the secure posting.
      3. then under File > Site Manager setup an SFTP connection with the host, user name and password to connect.

Or, I Was hoping you could just login with the wordpress login.

Maybe you can tell me what I need to look for in the CSS...

      Thanks, Rich

    • Hey, I went in and made the theme directory and subdirectorys drwxrwxr-x

It just doesn't seem to pick up images...and tables. I'm not certain what's happening.
