SOLVED Problems with Rocksprocket after moving to another sever
Posted 10 years 10 months ago
Hi,
We have just moved our server from a shared on to a dedicated one, we used akeeba to move the site, the site is alive, but rocksprocket is showing erros.
But could not fix my site, the same way on post above.
E get this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_split() in /home/cis/public_html/components/com_roksprocket/lib/RokSprocket/Util/HTMLManipulator.php on line 36
If i disable the component the sites seems to work fine, except for this message: The RokSprocket Module needs the RokSprocket Component enabled.
And once its not enabled site does not display the roksprocket content.

1. clear server cache.
2. it sounds like mbstring is not installed on your new server - check with your host.
If still no good Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and i'll have a look for you.
