PDO Connection Error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentic

hi all
i install a clarion 3.2 templete in my account at ipage hosting company by using rocketluncher
but i got the following error
PDO Connection Error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to the client
can any one help me to fix the above error

Posted 10 years 9 months ago- Hit up your webhost and make sure they have the PDO Driver installed and enabled for your site... they may need to restart the server...
