Installation w/RocketLauncher Stuck after Page 1

Posted 10 years 3 months ago
    • Hello,

I have been trying to install Chimera for Joomla 3, and after accessing the directory, and filling out Page 1 (Configuration, where you enter website name, description, admin name, password) and pressing NEXT, I get a ...progress bar that keeps on rolling and rolling from left to right, yet it would not go to Page 2 (Database).

I found someone who had a similar problem, and they were able to fix it by downgradining PH to 5.4.x. I have PHP 5.4.36, Apache is 2.2.29, MySQL is 5.5.40-cll and magic quotes are off.

I tried it in Chrome, Safari and the same thing. I restarted Apache, and tried to do it again, but whenever I click Next after filling Page 1 in Configuration, I get this blue progress bar that loads from left to right, and then cycles again and again...

      Any ideas what to do?

    • Look in browser console and apache error log for error messages.

      make sure you meet specs....

      System Requirements:

Apache 2.x or Microsoft IIS 7
PHP support for the SQLite PDO driver
PHP support for the MySQL PDO driver
MySQL (5.0.4 or higher) with InnoDB support
      PHP support for PDO
      PHP support for GD2
PHP 5.3.x and above (not php 5.5)

Also, if you are running Joomla 3.0, the minimum specs for Joomla 3.0 are found here http://www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=675&t=180131&rb_v=viewtopic - you can safely ignore this link if you are running J2.5.

Use the Joomla Forum Post Assistant to do detailed checks http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860

      Regards, Mark.

    • Hi,

in error logs, the following keeps on popping up:

[07-Jan-2015 11:13:29 America/Chicago] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20100525/ffmpeg.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20100525/ffmpeg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Here are the specs, which seem to be all in:

      Apache Version 2.2.29
      PHP Version 5.4.36
      MySQL Version 5.5.40-cll
      Architecture x86_64
      Operating System linux
      Perl Version 5.8.8
      Kernel Version 2.6.18-028stab101.1
      cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)

Here is my PHP.ini - PreInstallation check did not flag anything.
