    • I don't know what's wrong with your site now - but I can't login on front end - see screenshots.

    • Nothing is wrong with my site from my end. I have 3 separate computers that are all able to access my site with no problems as well being able to log in via anonymous VPN, as shown in the screenshot attached.

      The checkbox issue appears to be fixed on the guest frontpage with the CSS code but not on my internal "search with map" page which can be found on the main toolbar as a submenu to the "Properties" item...

      I don't know why you cannot access my site. Everything is working elsewhere ...

    • Now I got on, but it's painfully slow.

      You are getting JS errors on that page now - all I can suggest is that you disable plugins and extensions one at a time, clearing browser and server cache between each change, to see if you can find the culprit.

      You had also enabled the "azrul" plugin again - so I disabled it again because that definitely is affecting the other pages.

      Regards, Mark.

    • yes i *just* reactivated azrul's plugin to see if it would clear another JS error (which it did ...) ...

      So it seems there is a major conflict between RT, Joomla, JomSocial and Joomla Estate Agency that is beyond my scope of knowledge and skills ...

      It is so sad that developers cannot collaborate better so these issues do not occur for end users and newbie developers ...

    • You and I both are unaware of where the conflict actually is. It may be nothing to do with RT products (and I have seen this many times before). It's simply impossible for us to collaborate with every developer that produces something for the joomla platform. All we can do is all work to the joomla standards and documentation.

      RT does not provided support for third-party products, I've done my best to offer some constructive advice but we simply can't spend the time diagnosing third-party product conflicts within the scope of this Forum. I urg eyou to try what I have suggested and to dsaible pluygins and extensions one at a time to see if you can find the source of the issue. It will be some JS somewhere that is altering those values - it's just too much of coincidence that they're all getting that weird value.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Yes, I understand that it's impossible to collaborate on every bit of coding but it also seems that every developer I ask for assistance is much quicker to disclaim responsibility than they are to dig into their code to see if they actually did make a mistake or if they can tweak something to make it work better for their end users ...

      Joomla Estate Agency modules have no direct or apparent interaction with any of the JomSocial items so I do not believe it is a JomSocial issue ... and if I do ask JomSocial tech support for help (which I pay $$ to receive), they will say the same thing you are saying, "We dont provide support for 3rd party plugins... Ask the other developers for help ..."

      Ultimately, I would like to know where to find the "element.style" attribute for the absolute positioning of the script which I beleive is hardcoded inside the RT template and/or RT plugins somewhere ... if it was a JomSocial issue it would affect ONLY JomSocial functions, which is obviously not the case.

      This issue occurs on every page that has the "checkbox" item script ... which is NOT a JomSocial issue ...

    • I have already explained this to you. element.style means that the styling coded is added directly on the html. The html for those third party modules is provided by those third-parties (not RT) - even the "remember me" one was on a joomla piece of code. Even if you look at their code I don't think that you will find that it is actually on their code... it's a piece of JS somewhere that is adding that styling on the html dynamically (programmatically). I have no idea where that JS that is doing that is located. Which is why I suggested that you disable plugins and extensions one at a time to narrow it down.

      I demonstrated that when I turned off the "azrul" plugin then that fixed the issue on the "remember me" - so that is the source of at least one clash, there may be others too but that is definitely one.

      Have you also tried switching template to (say) protostar and see whan happens then? if it does the same then it's not the RT template, if it doesn't this unfortunatley does not prove that it is RT either since we rely in turn on other third-party products such as bootstrap etc etc.

      I do understand your frustration, but unfortunately these things do take a long time to track down, the approach to take is to eliminate each one at a time.

      Regards, Mark.

    • i figured it out and it works great.

      for anyone who also wants to know, this is the CSS override that works to put the checkboxes in a static position
      input[type=checkbox] {
         position: static !important;
         left: 1px !important;
      }

Time to create page: 0.057 seconds
