Re: Template settings not working after upgrade to Joomla 3.4.8

I just got the web hosting company to have a look at it.
They said..
"I inspected the error log for your domain and it appears that the problem was caused by the .htaccess file, which is found in radiolantau.com/libraries.
I disabled the file by renaming it to .htaccess1 and now the page that you are questioning is properly displayed on my side."
The thing is.. what is .htaccess doing in /libraries? I uploaded a new version last night from a working site in an attempt to get it working again. It was in the site root.
I really think there is something else going on here.

You are getting loads of server500 errors in the console. You need to look in the apache error log and tell me the error message associated with those server500's.
I have do say this doesn't look good at all - you site seems to be very corrupted. do you have abackup that you can go back to prior to the hack?
Regards, Mark.
