What is the best steps for transitioning to 1.5?
Can someone please point me in the right direction, I have a site that is current with 1.0 and do not want to lose anything or have much down time!

Uups.. that is a hard question! I'm real new to J! 1.5 to be honest I just stared today with my first site installation and configuration. The simple fact that there is no longer module position screen and you can actually create the module position at the moment of creation or modification of a module its very ... well.. very Easy but different, I needed to search for an answer for it at the Joomla forums.
This and some more common question will come to you. Also you need to check if the extensions you are using
