Rocketlauncher problems

    • Hi,

I have installed joomla a few times on a hosting package and love it, I signed up to Rocket Theme the other day, and have used the rocket launcher packages a few times to test some templates out.

I am now trying to get a rocketlauncher package to work on "wampserver" (its a replacement for ISS that comes with apache and mysql)

When I go to the installation section, the language page loads ok but down the bottom of IE it says something along the lines of "done, but with errors" and clicking on next doesnt do anything...

      These are the errors..

      /installation/index.php

      Error on page

      Line: 19
      Char: 4
      Error: Window is undefined
      Code: 0
      URL: http://localhost/silverleaf/installation/index.php

      Line: 88
      Char: 3
      Error: Object expected
      Code: 0
      URL: http://localhost/silverleaf/installation/index.php

    • Does the installation process still work?

    • No, its really strange.

Both wampserver and xampp have the same issue when installed on a windows 2003 server (out of the box settings)

when you install them on vista or xp it works fine. So in short I got round the problem but its certainly not fixed. I can only assume that windows 2003 server is running a service that somehow gets in the way.

    • Yeah, must be the OS you are running, maybe some people at forum.joomla.org will no as I don't :)
