What is the best way to match my database settings with my site configuration settings? My database was accidentally deleted, then restored....now my site will not connect? I receive the ffollowing message: Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

These settings should be in the configuration.php file.
If all else fails, BACK UP YOUR DATABASE!
Try renaming configuration.php to configuration.php-dist and go back to your site and run the web installer again. BACKUP YOUR DATABASE!!!! When you get to the database section CLICK ON THE BACKUP TABLES SECTION!! and change the prefix to something different than what it is. Before you click on next button MAKE SURE YOU BACKED UP YOUR DATASBE!!! Then use phpMyAdmin to rename all of the fields' prefixes back to the origional.
