What is the best ACL (Group Access Permission) extension for Joomla 1.5???

I am trying to better manage my backend users. I want to edit the default backend admins for my site where for example, administrators and managers only have access to certain extensions. I have read about several ACL extensions (Group Access in Joomla Extension site), but I am not sure which is the best based on user experience.
While the reviews on Joomla site for this extensions are flattering and tempting, if you actually go to the developers website, you will wonder if the reviews are actually written by staffs of the developers. Lots of bugs and complains and uninstall woes where you actually get locked out of your front and backend for life after you uninstall the extension for whatever reasons. Most of them are actually hacks to the core joomla files, while others have very restricted functionalities.
So folks, any recommendation especially with Rok templates?

Posted 16 years 6 months ago- From what I read, it appears that RokAccess isn't for J1.5, but J1.0. Didn't take the time to install and verify. Anyway, it looked promisiing. But I also read that J1.6 will be addressing this, but we have to wait 2 - 4 months for it's release. Probably why RokAccess isn't doing anything. But RT always does it better!
