Hyperion Template Video Module - Please Help

Hello Everyone -
I love what you are doing here... thanks. I am pretty new to Joomla and got 2 weeks ago the Hyperion Template. I love it... but am so completely stuck with the recent video playlist. I 've been coming here for days and spent hours reading the tutorials over and over as well as the forums posts... and am still stuck. By now I am frustrated enough to ask for help...
.. sorry if I missed the answer somewhere here on the site... I tried... but need to move on... hope someone can help...
The problem: The videos won't play /playlist won't show. I got the graphics for the recent video part and plalylist displaying... when the page loads... even the preloader and the buffering note displays shortly... but that's it. Oh yeah ..what ever I paste on code ( as given in the recent video tutorial) won't stay... all that's left after saving is the adobe gif that links to the adobe website to download the player. I don't even get the graphic interface up. So I linked in the custom module output box instead the .swf file... this got me as far as I explained above. I do have all relevant files in the same folder... so I don't think that's the problem.
Please help...

Check the permissions on the video.xml folder

Hi again...
I checked permission... they are set to 755
I created the custom module for recent video... following instruction from your website tutorials... as well as from the PFD tutorial ( which are the same, I believe), I downloaded with the template.
So I understood that I had to paste the code into the "Custom Outbox" of the custom module mod_custom.
I tried to paste the code into an HTML file in the mod_custom folder... that didn't work either... mind you, I really don't know what I am doing...
Really don't know where to go from here... I am struggling with this for some 2 weeks now and don't have a clue...
It's probably something pretty obvious that I am doing wrong to someone who knows the subject...I just can't figure it out... even copied the flash folder and other files into the mod_custom folder...
James... maybe if you log in to my sites admin panel you see what's wrong? If you want to email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - I will give you the log in info to the joomla administrator and to my ftp account...
