1. For the moment, you don't need to worry about the database.
2. I installed a copy of the demo site (Joomla + MediaMogul template), it will be easier for you to edit the texts, remove what you don't want, etc. You don't need to install/reinstall your template, it's already done.
3. You should first learn the basics of Joomla, you don't need to know coding to start. Look at these Joomla 1.5 Tutorials to learn more about how to administer your site, edit your content and manage your menus:
Those didnt help much. And it looks like I have to know HTML. UGH!!! I think I am going to have to hire someone to build my site. Im not a dumb guy but I dont know HTML and was told this was easier than it seems.
I would love to learn how all this works, but I am really a designer and have no formal training in coding. And I have read tons of forum postings and watch many video tutorials but they really arent helping. My site has been down for over a week and every minute its down my business loses money. So I would eventually like to learn this inside and out, I need to get a crash coarse so I can learn enough to at least get a basic site up and going.
