      But I want to change it INSIDE joomla.
      I found this mysql password in 'configuration.php' (var $password =). It works!
      There is no Cryptography. Dont you think it is a security isue?

    • Ah, what Mike was saying, if you wanted to change the actual password, then the cpanel is the place. However, the Joomla configuration is merely a setting that loads the password for the mysql (a login if you will).
