Same template, multiple color schemes by menu?

  • Same template, multiple color schemes by menu?

    • A search of the boards has yielded a "no" answer to this, but the question was slightly different, so I'm going fishing. Thanks in advance for answers.

Can the same template installation be configured, via plugin or natively, to serve up different styles on the same website? The "solution" I'm aware of is to install multiple copies of the same template, rename the directory (and in one of the config files, I forget which but I have it saved somewhere), and then assign the different installations, with their different parameters, to different sections/menus.

It would be soooo much nicer if all of my module positions, module styles, etc... could be config'd only once. All I want to have change is the overall style selection in templates such as perihelion and versatility III change by menu.

      Many thanks!

      John

    • If you are still using J1.x, you could try CSS Weiche (component + module). It's in german, I hope you will manage to install it.

    • Er... they're all 1.x, right? =D Fortunately, between you and Babel Fish I found a 1.5 version on the same website. I'll report back how it goes, thank you very much! =)
