    Install problems - Simplix RL 1.5.7

    • I installed the Joomla 1.5.7/Simplix Rocket Launcher, went through the install process just fine, deleted the installation directory and then ran into problems. I changed the directory name in which I installed the files, then went into the config file to make the directory changes there, per the instructions on the tutorial. I did not see Absolute Path, Live Site, or Cache Path, which I was supposed to change in the config file - they were not listed anywhere! I did change the directory in two places, but neither of those were the ones listed.

      Then, when I try to access the site ( test.peopleofpius.org ), it tries to access the install directory and I get a 404 error. I can't get the admin panel to load either.

      EDITED: The admin panel loads fine - still can't get the site to load, though....

      I am totally scratching my head here.... Any ideas?

    • Thanks for your reply! Last night I decided to delete the entire thing and start from scratch - I deleted and then re-uploaded all of the files. Everything works fine, but I haven't changed the directory name yet.... When I delete the installation directory, am I also supposed to delete the install.php file?
