    • Hey,

      I've setup articles, and pointed links to the articles in the main menu, only for the links to show up as 404 errors now. My site is www.seobyhand.co.uk , any one have any idea why the articles aren't showing?

      Hello,

      It looks like this may be an SEF url configuration problem. To check, go to Site > Global Configuration and turn off the sef urls.

      You will want to navigate to Admin > Site > Global Configuration. There you will find a setting termed *Apache mod_rewrite*. Set this to Yes.

      Then, navigate to the root directory of your Joomla install and rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess

      In Joomla 1.5, it is usually best to enable this option as it drops the /index.php/ part of the URL and provides better SEF functionality.

      Thanks for your help, it was a problem with the htaccess file, named it just htaccess instead of .htaccess
