    • Hello,

      Joomla .15.7 Version
      Need to reinstall two templates (Replicant 2 and Chromataphore) due to numerous intermittent DB problems since "moving" files from one folder to another. Therefore, I would like to start over with RocketLauncher into the desired folder with new database, settings, etc.

      How can I successfully do this so that the live site using Chromataphore ends up with the same colors, menus, content, poll results, etc.?

      The Replicant 2 site is less problematic as it was still in development; I will just reinstall that one and start completely over.

    • you would need to perform your install in a separate directory then copy the CSS, index.php, and .png files over to the new install so you retain your color changes, etc.

    • Thanks for the quick response.

      I really want to use the existing root folder, so let me know if this scenario sounds good:
      • Backup all existing files from current root folder location.
      • Delete all existing files from current root folder location.
      • Delete current MySQL database.
      • Create new MySQL database.
      • Run RocketLauncher to the empty root folder using new database.
      • Copy/replace from backup all of the existing folders/files to retain current colors, content, polls/results, graphics, etc. to root folder.

      Are there any files that I should not copy/replace from the backup?

      I want my end result to look exactly like www.increasecdc.org does today or when I do it PLUS have the same content and poll results. Is that possible?

    • Everything you said is OK except if you want to retain same menu, content and poll result, you have to import it from your old database or rewrite it however you won't have poll result if you rewrite it.
