Banner Module Resizing

    • This one is causing me to pull my hair out. I'm running 1.5.8 & utilizing a RocketTheme template that has been moderately modified.

I have resized the header to 205 pixels and inserted a logo graphic that is 400 pixels wide. So far so good. I turned on the core Banner module which is set to display to the right of the logo. At 468X60 it obviously looked bad. So in the template css I resized the position to be 468X150 so that we could insert some custom banners. I created an appropriately sized banner and upon trying to use the default banner module, it would no longer display.

I tried going back to the original size and was dumbfounded when it would no longer display at even the original size.

I next tried 2 third party banner modules, both of them display at the default size of 468X60 but no matter what I do, will not go beyond that.

Anyone offer any insight how I can utilize the original banner module to display 468X150 banners in its appropriate position?

      Peace.

    • I feel like an idiot. No sooner than I made this post, I went back to the original banner module where I promptly realized that you have to select a category in the module for display. Since the wrong category was selected, obviously no display.

I've messed with this off and on for 5 days. Lovely :) <Shakes head and crys out for a beer>
