I had a blank page today as well, logged in at my host and found a message:
"The transfer of your host has been initiated..." :shock:
I had no idea what was happening, changed all passwords in a rush and reported to them. Turned out they were moving servers around to "improve performance".
Thanks to my host for nearly giving me a heartattck....

Whatever you do, NEVER host with start logic. Back when I had zero idea of what I was doing, I did the stupidest thing ever - search a "top 10" site for the cheapest/best hoster...UH!
They know nothing about Joomla, and their tech support (though they finally have chatting) is straight from a text book. If you don't respond properly to their statement, they don't know what to do with themselves!
They blamed it on me, saying it was a coding issue and I needed to talk to the web master. When I said I hadn't changed any code since it worked and I was the web master, all they say is "Ok, is there anything else we can help with..."
