Sorry I took so long to get back to you David.
My site has about 240-250 articles. It has seven "levels" under the Home option.

The option I can't move is "Contact us" which likes where it is at position 3 apparently (despite my pathetic actions to move it to #1). That's as high as it's willing to go. So I'm leaving it there.

Hi Sue
When I had the same problem I had to delete the entire section, close the session and then create a new section heading in mainmenu.
You may have already tried this but if you have not, give it a go.
