Simple Image Rotator - rotating too fast

Hi,
You will see on this site - www.futurefireworks.com that the simple image rotator module in the Firenzie banner module position is changing to fast that you dont get enough time to see each image being displayed.
I have set the module config to 5000 to reflect 5 seconds for the image being displayed but the transition time is just going through too quickly.
can anyone help me?

did you ask for the simple image rotator developers support?
you could switch to one of the standard joomla templates for a moment to check if the problem shows there too and find out if this is a specific problem with the firenzie template or with the extension.

hey kat,
did you ask for the simple image rotator developers support?
I asked on the joomlaworks forum about this but that was about 24hrs ago and still no reply.
I tried changing the template to the rhuk_milkyway one but SIR still having problems.

if the problem is still there when using the rhuk_milkyway then it is related to the SIR.
maybe you will get an answer at joomlaworks soon, but you could also check if maybe rokslideshow would have all the features you need. it is pretty easy to set up and for free. www.rocketwerx.com/products/rokslideshow/overview

OK I have installed, published RokSlideShow but its not appearing to work in the module position in the Firenzie template.
Any ideas?

it doesnt show at all right now, did you disable it again or is that exactly the problem you have?
does it work in any of the other module positions?

are you sure that the install was without any errors and that you enabled the rokslideshow?
which other 3rd party extensions do you run, you could try disabling them one by one and see if one or more of them cause the problems. you could also check if rokslideshow works in the rhuk_milkyway template. did you get any news at joomlaworks about sir?

it appears that the issue with the SIR and also the rokslideshow having problems is IXXO Cart shopping cart software as this is the component that is set on the home page of the website.
They work correctly on all other pages but not on the homepage.
