integrated registration for joomla, newsletter and forum

hi all
the question is: is it possible to automaticly add user to newsletter, when he registers to joomla? I know it can be done with forum, if we use some bridge, but I can't find 'bridge' for newsletter. if I could add a field 'do you want to subscribe to newsletter' during registration proces, would it work?

are you using newsletter extension for joomla or another standalone newsletter script?
have you checked this:
