IE versus Firefox...why are things missing?

On our home page (
www.tailgate365.com
) if you browse in Fire Fox and are not logged in you see all of the content, and of course it works when logged in also.
If you do this with Internet Explorer and are not logged in, you see nothing on the right side but when you log in with IE, you see everything.
What am I missing here? This is maddening. Joomla 1.5.9 with Terran Tribune theme

Lee,
It's likely because of an error in your code. Firefox will do its best to render the page as you intended while IE will just skip that section. If you download the firefox addon web developer toolbar, you will be able to view all the errors on your site and begin addressing them.

- thanks I will try that, I don't claim at all to know a lot about this but if it is coding, wouldn't IE fail when logged in also?

major thanks and props, the toolbar identified a few errors, and one in particular that was causing the issue
it turned out to be a css file for one of our extensions that was making things unhappy, fixed it and voila, works in both browsers
I have a few things to clean up it seems but this absolutely got me on the right track, thanks for the fantastic support...as simple as it seemed to you, I am definitely not as savvy and this is SO appreciated
