Server offline for module

Hello, my problem is all is running in frontend perfectly, i can change and write articles and i have installed two modules:
Magic Updater
jGerman-Modul (for looking for Updates)
But in backend these modules tell me the server is offline.
What can it be, even when i check for updates in virtuemart, the checker runs without ending.
(Joomla 157, MySQL 5, PHP 5)

Update the core?
Joomla or the template?
For Joomla, you can do this manually by following these instructions:

I will try to update the core. but i don´t understand where is the mistake. When i write textes or change them, it functions, perhaps the core has a bug.

- So, i have installed the new patch for Joomla 157 to 159 and than installed the new language for 159 and than the new jGerman-Modul, this modul shows me that the frontend is aktuell, the backend is aktuell and Joomla is offline, it seems to me that there is a bug in the joomla-Core?
