The customer is looking for a web based file management and database software. Preferably something that we can juut plug into the CMS. The client want to be able to create customer folders, and upload files to them. When a file is uploaded, an email is sent to the appropriate person. When the customer logs in, they will only see the files in their folder. The database will inform them of the files and dates uploaded, and pointing out the newest one. They will then be able to to download the file themself. The customer will also have upload access, to upload files to their folder. When the upload is made, an email will be sent to the appropriate person at the clients office.
is there some sort of plug-in availabe that does this (I know, long shot) or does anyone know of any program that is capable of this? I know it exists, they showed me an example of what they wanted. But I don't exactly know what it is called, or where to look.

Cruizer,
That's 'way over the top' for something out of the box.
You could almost get away with it with something like DocMan but I think it would still take so customization to work the way you describe.
Also, depending on how many clients you'd have to set up, it'd take some time. - Thanks,
