Rok Mini News not working in IE 8?

Just checked my site in IE 8 and Rok Mini News doesn't work. it just shows the top section with the titles and where you can choose the amount of articles to show... click and nothing happens. To make sure that it wasnt just my site I checked the demo site.
I am using Terran Tribune and this feature is important to my site... any ideas?
As if IE wasn't a pain already, they stepped it up a notch with IE 8

Wich forces IE8 to emulate IE7. Wont be a solution for everything, but I hop this helps ... - Thanks,

- RMN works fine on the demo site so maybe you have a script conflict or maybe a CSS error on your site?
