Meridian Showcase stopped working...

Hello
I am in the process of setting up the Meridian template on my site when the code for the showcase feature stopped working. I thought it might be a mistake made on my part, but I copy/pasted the original code back and it still is not working. It has been flawless up until this point.
Since my site is not live and still under development (ie, not for public consumption), I would very much appreciate a few "offline" minutes from an admin who may be able to look and see what is wrong.

[/showcase] </div> Everything looks in order, but the module just spits out the code on my site and ignores the showcase tag. As I said, this was working perfectly not more that an hour or so ago.

The two div's are added in the output source, I didn't copy the closing /div "block_full" into my reply. As you can see inside the showcase tag the code is the same as what I pasted in.
I reinstalled the entire template folder thinking something was inadvertently changed, but the problem persists.
