At my site:
http://www.vmwusa.org
I'd like to add a registration captcha when folks register. As it is now, if you click "Create an account" it takes you to the registration form, however, there is no captcha there for verification. Is there supposed to be? or is the verification/security when people get the email to that address they registered with? I still get spam registering on the site from the front end it seems. Also, is there a captcha that anyone knows about for visually impaired individuals?
What is weird to me is when I click "Yes" on the Login module where it says "Enrypt Login Form" and try and login to the site, it gives a 404 error message. Any tips on login security and captchas would be appreciated!!
A couple of the core Joomla! developers launched this one just before JDay Vegas.
moovur site
What I like best in moovur, is its backend. It logs messages so if they are trapped as spam, you can readily get them in the logs and still respond to the sender. It also has a nice flash bit snapped in for charting spam attempts on your site.
Many moons ago I was getting standard reCAPTCHA requests for pro-sites and modified a modified modded custom bit of code
found here for download.
Both offer audio solutions.
Best of Luck on your security search!
