Mike thanks for the help, but I don't think we're on the same page. I have attached a screenshot to help. I want to edit the actual form labels for the contact form.

en-GB.com_contact.ini
(assuming you're using english)

- KFawcett, you might want to also consider a forms component which would allow you much more flexibility. There are many out there.
