Template gone from internal pages
Posted 15 years 10 months ago
I'm not at all sure how it happened, but the template no longer appears in my internal pages, only on the home page. I've got the template set as the default, and the problem happens regardless of what template I assign to the site.

What happened? What can I do to fix it? Thanks!

It's probably a SEF issue, try turning it off and see if the template shows up.
Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
A template is only as good as the content that goes into it

Have you enabled SEF?
Is it configured properly?
Basic Core SEF:
If joomla is in the root; htdocs, or public_html...
In Global Configurations, Search Engine Friendly URLs
Yes
, Use Apache mod_rewrite
Yes
, Add suffix to URLs
No
.
Change htaccess.txt to .htaccess.
If it’s in a folder, you need to change the # RewriteBase / to reflect the path of your site.
Change:
# RewriteBase /
to:
RewriteBase /(the name of the folder joomla is in)
If that doesn't work, search or post here:
forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=544
If you are using a 3rd part component, contact the developer.
Thanks,
jim
