Adding a Module to an Article

I am using Joomla 1.5 and Dimension rockettheme. I need to add a module an article. I tried 2 things:
1) Add the code {loadposition user_defined_positon} to the article. While this adds the module, the module styling that comes with the rockettheme is lost
2) Add the article to a dummy menu and link the module to the article through this menu. But this means that the module shows up in the article only when it uses the itemId of that menu. Won't this cause problems later on? Like if I link to other articles from this article the itemid will get passed on, right ?
Is there a better solution ?
