This is probably a dumb question, but how hard would it be to reoptimize the Versatility IV template so that the main content shows before the sidebars for search engines? Just like what was accomplished in Nexus.
I flipped the code around in the templates' HTML, but the sidebars end up floating below the main content div. Would it just be a matter of editing the sidebar divs positioning in CSS or is it more complicated?
Anyone taken on this task before and have the specific steps involved?
My main reason for asking is that the site seems to be getting really low quality scores in Google Adwords compared to static HTML sites that I have built in the past.
your content will have much more to do with quality score than the positioning of the content. I use versatility on a few sites as it and am getting quality scores of 8/9.
Everyone needs to understand that the difference you'll see in SEO with source ordering isn't all that big. If you're in a competitive market then yes, every bit helps. But I've never seen source ordering affect an Adwords quality score.
