Joomla Newbie depseprately needs install help

Hello. I have with the help of my web developer built (with a little work still being needed) a joomla website called
www.mmaprofightshop.com
, the rest of what I'm building I'm using xsite pro as I'm a newbie.
I decided to take the bull by the horns so I can install what I want so I have two real questions.
The first one is related to Godaddy. They have a service which installs Joomla for you. I am in the process of installing Joomla and I bought one of the templates from rockettheme to install. Problem is that they don't install third-party templates. How do I go about doing this? I apologize beforehand if this is too basic for most of you but I really would like the freedom of doing the installations and configurations myself and then hiring web developers to do the more sophisticated work. So how do I install my Joomla template into my Godaddy Joomla account.
The other question is where can I find a good tutorial on doing a manual install. I'm a true newbie so I don't understand how the process works.I download a template and then I'm not sure what's next. If their is a tutorial I'd appreciate it.
